"Grace for the Graceless"
"So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." Hebrews 4: 16 NLT
It’s easy to play the blame game and find fault in others, but not so easy to look in the mirror and confess our own shortcomings. Don’t be so quick to judge others or cut them off when they mess up. What if God washed His hands of you every time you messed up? What if He stopped forgiving you every time you said you wouldn’t do it again, knowing all along that you would in fact repeat the same sin?
God loves you beyond your faults and beyond your self-sabotaging thoughts! He cares for you more than you will ever comprehend and He’s waiting on you to take the first step. God is such a gracious father that He will meet you where you are, but He wants your whole heart, not just part of it. Surrender your life to Him today. He’s waiting with open arms and the biggest smile for YOU, His beloved child!
Prayer:
God, I thank you for this day! Thank you for new mercies and new grace to walk fully in your will for my life! Help me to surrender my whole heart over to you. I’m tired of the tug-of-war of life and I need your help. Please forgive me for all that I have done that didn’t bring your glory. I’m ready to give it all to you. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
