"Trust God With Your Fears"

“ 5)Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6) in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

It has been said that fear is an indicator of an area in your life that you have not fully surrendered to God. Full surrender requires trust. Proverbs 3:5-6, instructs us to trust in God and to lean not on our own understanding. When we relinquish our ways, our thoughts, ideas and understanding to the sovereign will of God, fear dissipates. Today, lean on the everlasting arms of God and conquer your fears with trust in God.

Prayer:

God, your word tells me that you have not given me a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and a sound mind. I surrender all doubts and fear over to you right now. I will no longer try to fix my problems and control my circumstances. Instead, I put all trust in you because you care for me. You are accountable and you are dependable! You are the only wise God! Help me to stand firm in that truth. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!
